The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Disclosed

According to the formal release, "A strange encounter leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the darkness." The storyline presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine group.

The mission concentrates on "bizarre trials and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Transformations

The preview highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer ends with a dramatic sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
